“Heritage at Hand at CroAtrium”: Concert marking the centenary of the birth of Miroslav Miletić

On 3 October 2025 (14.00, Conference Hall Judita), the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) will host a concert marking the centenary of the birth of the Croatian composer, violinist, violist and music educator Miroslav Miletić (1925-2018). Organised as the fourth edition of Heritage at Hand at CroAtrium, the concert will commemorate Miletić’s legacy in the context of Croatia’s musical heritage as well as his contribution to the promotion of Croatian composers worldwide through his work as the founder and leader of a notable string quartet Pro Arte Zagreb, with which he performed in thousands of concerts all across the globe. On 2 July 2025, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) hosted another special get-together and exhibition commemorating Miroslav Krleža (1893-1981), one of the most distinguished, world-famous Croatian writers and thinkers of all time.
