On 22 and 24 May 2024, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) will host a special programme organised by the members of the Management of Library Associations Section of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA MLAS).

Panel with the IFLA North America and Europe Regional Division Committee Members
The panel will take place on 22 May 2024, starting at 11.00, with the Executive Director of the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) Susan Haigh and International Cooperation Officer at the German Library Association (DBV) Hella Klauser acting as panellists and the Assistant to the NSK Director General Dr Dijana Machala moderating the discussion.

IFLA MLAS Advocacy Impact Evaluation project presentation
The presentation of the IFLA MLAS Advocacy Impact Evaluation project will be held on 24 May 2024, starting at 11.00. Along with the members of the project team Susan Haigh, Hella Klauser and Dr Dijana Machala, the project presentation will include the participation of the Chair of IFLA MLAS and member of the IFLA Governing Board Loida Garcia-Febo.
The project, launched in 2021 and headed by Dr Dijana Machala, is aimed at strengthening practices focusing on the evaluation of library advocacy impacts through providing insightful and highly practical guidelines and recommendations in this context.


Apart from Susan Haigh and Hella Klauser, the project team includes Jorge Moisés Kroll Do Prado (Brazil), Pascal Sanz (France), Alicia Sellés Carot (Spain), Ana Carolina López Scondras (Argentina) and Namutenya Hamwaalwa (Namibia).
