On 12 December 2023, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) hosted Systems Librarianship Conference 2023, the 7th open conference for users of the NSK Integrated Library System. Organised with the support of the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media, the conference again brought together information professionals and librarians from all types of libraries. Themed Digital Transformation, the conference programme focused on issues relating to digitally mature learning environments, artificial intelligence, new library technologies and related concepts, cloud-based library services platforms and discovery systems and services. NSK WordPod: Croatian writers’ digital archive

In 2023, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) set up NSK WordPod, a digital archive presenting Croatian contemporary writers. Developed as part of the project supported by the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media, NSK WordPod currently makes available unique video content bringing closer to the general public Croatia’s ten contemporary authors and their works. NSK waiving late return charges as part of Croatian Book Month 2023

9 – 11 November 2023

Just return that overdue book and you will completely be let off the hook! Joining the programme of Croatian Book Month 2023 and marking Croatian Book Day, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) will be waiving all late return charges from 9 to 11 November 2023. Overdue titles are to be returned where they were issued, i.e. the central loan desk on the Library’s Ground Floor or in the reading rooms on Floors 3 and 4.
