A concert marking the centenary of the birth of the Croatian composer, violinist, violist and music educator Miroslav Mileti\u0107 (1925-2018), held at the Library on 3 October 2025, brought together the lovers and researchers of Mileti\u0107\u2019s oeuvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organised as the fourth edition of Heritage at Hand at CroAtrium<\/a><\/em>, the 2025 programme of the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) promoting and popularising Croatian cultural heritage preserved as part of CROATICA<\/a>, Croatia\u2019s national library collection, the concert featured Mileti\u0107\u2019s instrumental and vocal-instrumental compositions, along with compositions by several French authors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mileti\u0107\u2019s music celebrated through inspiring performances \u2013 and online<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Presenting selected Mileti\u0107\u2019s instrumental and vocal-instrumental compositions, the concert featured performances by harpist Tajana Vukeli\u0107 Pei\u0107, cellist Zita Drau\u0161nik, pianist Nadja Varga Modri\u0107, mezzosoprano Tihana Herceg Iv\u0161i\u0107 and hornist Sr\u0111an Pei\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to enjoying the inspiring performances, the audience also had the opportunity to learn more about Mileti\u0107\u2019s personal archive preserved at the NSK Music Collection<\/a> and soon to be presented as part of a special online exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
