In organising and conducting its activities<\/a>, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) successfully cooperates with professionals in a wide variety of fields as well as with the wider academic community in Croatia and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through its projects, the organisation of international exhibitions, membership in professional international associations and other international cooperation<\/a>-focused activities, the Library promotes Croatia\u2019s cultural heritage on an international scale, increases the global visibility of Croatia\u2019s research output and significantly contributes to the advancement of the library profession globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether we present our exhibitions in the Library\u2019s inviting spaces or at other venues in Croatia or abroad, we often prepare them through successful partnerships. Apart from the treasures making part of CROATICA<\/a>, the national library collection that we curate, our exhibitions also feature valuable resources held by other \u2013 Croatian and foreign \u2013 heritage institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filming and photographing on the Library\u2019s premises<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

NSK may allow onsite filming and photographing on its premises for scientific and educational purposes as well as as part of programmes and initiatives aimed at the promotion of culture and serving the public interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The filming and photographing of the Library\u2019s holdings is subject to the regulations governing the protection of copyright and related rights, personal data, library resources and cultural goods and is charged according to NSK Fees and Charges<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In promoting Croatia\u2019s cultural heritage, its scientific legacy and current research output, NSK takes great care of its effective cooperation with the press and media as one of valuable tools for increasing its visibility as a reliable information source when it comes to Croatian history and its current culture- and heritage-related national developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
