In addition to a rich programme of events<\/a> spotlighting Croatia\u2019s cultural heritage, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) offers visitors and the general public guided tours<\/a> of its spaces and collection<\/a>. Come and visit Croatia\u2019s largest library!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from taking you through one of Zagreb<\/a>\u2019s most recognisable buildings, whose impressive spaces total 44,432 sq metres, our guided tours uncover many interesting stories from more than 400 years of the Library\u2019s history<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, they bring closer to our visitors the Library\u2019s rich holdings<\/a> and collections<\/a>, in which the Library preserves the invaluable treasures of Croatian and the world\u2019s cultural heritage and scientific legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NSK Doors Open Days<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every year, as part of the celebration of the National and University Library in Zagreb Day (NSK Day)<\/a> \u2013 marking the anniversary of the publication of the first printed book in the Croatian language<\/a> \u2013  the Library organises its doors open days programme<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
