NSK, the National and University Library in Zagreb, has a dedicated team of conservation experts, enabling long-term preservation of resources in our collections and treasures of cultural heritage held by other Croatian libraries<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make valuable cultural and scientific heritage available for future generations, our conservation experts and bookbinding specialists dedicatedly work on the preservation, protection, restoration and digitisation of resources in our collections, also catering to the needs of other Croatian libraries when it comes to conservation. <\/p>\n\n\n

NSK digitisation programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2003, the members of our Preservation and Storage Department started digitising the Library\u2019s oldest and most valuable collection items, and since 2005, our digitisation programme also includes our resources on microfilms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
