An NSK Membership Card issued upon such request bears the name of the person for which membership was requested and not of the legal entity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to apply for NSK membership?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can easily apply for NSK membership in person or <a href=\"https:\/\/upisi.nsk.hr\/\">online<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All wishing to apply for NSK membership in person may <a href=\"https:\/\/nsk.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/NSK-Membership-Application-Form-2025.pdf\">download the NSK Membership Application Form<\/a> from the Library\u2019s website and have to present an identity document at the Form\u2019s submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon payment of the membership fee, the NSK Membership Card is issued on the spot, enabling its holder to immediately start using the Library\u2019s services, <a href=\"https:\/\/nsk.hr\/en\/nsk-collections\/\">collections<\/a>, user spaces and all other user facilities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All applying for NSK membership by <a href=\"https:\/\/nsk.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/NSK-Membership-Application-Form-2025.pdf\">submitting the NSK membership request online<\/a> will get instructions by e-mail guiding them through the registration process.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All data provided to the Library as part of the registration procedure are considered confidential and the Library processes them in compliance with the Croatian personal data protection act (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/narodne-novine.nn.hr\/clanci\/sluzbeni\/2012_09_106_2300.html\">Zakon o za\u0161titi osobnih podataka<\/a><\/em>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Are you entitled to special membership fees?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students, retired citizens and minors are entitled to special membership fees.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To exercise your right to special membership fees you have to present at the registration some of the following proofs of status, along with an identity document:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a Student Identity Card (X-ica) or an electronic student\u2019s record book (as a proof of your status as a full-time or part-time undergraduate and graduate student or a postgraduate student in Croatia)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>certificate of exercised pension insurance rights (as a proof of your status as a retired citizen)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ID card or passport (as a proof of your status as a non-Croatian EU citizen)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>passport (as a proof of your status as a non-EU citizen)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>declaration of consent by which the parent, foster parent or legal guardian of a minor assumes all obligations pertaining to that minor\u2019s membership of the Library.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Persons with disabilities and those accompanying them are entitled to free membership, upon providing a valid proof of their disability status (a certificate from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hzjz.hr\/tag\/registar-osoba-s-invaliditetom\/\">Croatian Disabled Persons Registry<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Proxy borrower<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Registered members may also act as proxy borrowers for other registered members of the Library, for research purposes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Proxy Borrower Library Card Request is available for download from the Library\u2019s website and it is required that both members are present at the registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fee models&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Annual registration \u2013 including borrowing privileges<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students, and postgraduate students of universities in the Republic of Croatia \u2013 <strong>\u20ac13,50<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Researchers and academic staff of Croatian universities, members of cultural and educational institutions \u2013 <strong>\u20ac20.00<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Retired citizens \u2013 <strong>\u20ac6.50<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other Croatian citizens \u2013 <strong>\u20ac26,50<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Persons with disabilities and those accompanying them are entitled to free membership and free membership renewal, upon providing a valid proof of their disability status, i.e. a disability or a carer ID or certificate (a certificate from the Croatian Disabled Persons Register (Registar osoba s invaliditetom) \u2013 <strong>no charge<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Annual registration \u2013 Reader Pass (not including borrowing privileges)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Croatian citizens \u2013 <strong>\u20ac20.00<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreign university students, foreign citizens \u2013 <strong>\u20ac20.00<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Persons aged between 16 and 18 \u2013 <strong>\u20ac4<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Discount for legal entities (group membership) \u2013 annual registration<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For groups of 2 to 9 people \u2013 the price is based on the membership category from 1.1 or 1.2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For groups of 10 to 99 people \u2013 a 20% discount on the annual membership fee. The discount applies only to groups of members from the same category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For groups of 100 or more people, the discount is negotiated based on the number and category of related fees directly to the Library\u2019s bank account or in person, when collecting their NSK Membership Card at the Registration Desk on the Library\u2019s Ground
