On 4 September 2025, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) hosted a symposium commemorating the legacy of a prominent Croatian library professional and heritage expert Šime Jurić (1915-2004). On 2 October 2024, the National Library of the Netherlands hosted a programme organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Kingdom of the Netherlands spotlighting Ivan Lučić (1604-1679), Croatia’s historiography champion.
