NSK hosts the team of an international project focusing on cross-border cooperation aimed at the preservation of European cultural heritage

From 9 to 11 September 2024, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) hosted a meeting held as part of Cross-Border Collaboration for European Cultural Heritage Preservation and Sustainable Development of Library Services, an international project spotlighting the significance of libraries and their services in the context of the preservation of Europe’s cultural heritage. Croatian Culture Corner opens at the National Library of Bulgaria

On 23 January 2024, the St. Cyril and Methodius National Library of Bulgaria opened its Croatian Culture Corner, on which occasion the Bulgarian national library and the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) signed a two-year cooperation agreement. The opening programme included addresses by the Director of the National Library of Bulgaria Krasimira Aleksandrova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia in the Republic of Bulgaria Jasna Ognjanovac and NSK International Cooperation Officer Jagoda Ille, who all emphasised the importance of maintaining the two libraries’ successful cooperation, while H.
