Our theses collection offers access to doctoral and Master’s theses defended by Croatian researchers at universities in Croatia and abroad.
Access
All theses in the Collection may be searched in the NSK Catalogue, while in the Collection’s reading room, located on Floor 1, print dissertations and other print theses published since 1933 may easily be accessed on open access shelves.
Digitised and digital-born theses
The digitised doctoral theses defended at the University of Zagreb between 1880 and 1952 are available on the Library’s NSK Digital Collections website.
The more recent theses’ digital versions may be accessed via the Croatian Digital Dissertations Repository.
Depositing your thesis
Under Croatia’s legal deposit provisions, one printed copy of each dissertation accepted at Croatian universities must be deposited at NSK. For all details concerning the deposit procedure please contact our Legal Deposit Office.
The digital copies of theses are deposited as part of the Croatian Digital Academic Archives and Repositories (DABAR) platform. For all details concerning the deposit of online theses please email us at dar@nsk.hr.
