Take part in the Fifteenth Festival of Croatian Digitisation Projects, the 2026 edition of D-fest, the Library’s annual conference focusing on issues surrounding the digitisation of heritage. D-fest 2026 – spotlighting digital sustainability and digital sovereignty
Keeping abreast of global developments, which make necessary extra efforts aimed at the protection of data and services, the programme of this year’s D-fest spotlights digital sustainability and sovereignty.
Implying the significance of securing a safe national infrastructure for storing cultural heritage and scientific data, these vital issues will be addressed through two invited talks.
In addition to artificial intelligence as currently one of the most dominant topics in practically every area, the Festival’s programme will also address issues related to methods and tools in digital humanities, in particular those used in researching the digital copies of old books.
Register and discover what’s new in heritage digitisation
As always, the Festival’s participants will hear presentations on the results of successful projects in the field of digitisation and digital heritage management. Also, they will have the opportunity to get acquainted with innovative approaches to heritage interpretation and promotion through online and virtual exhibitions and digital platforms.
