On 3 December 2024, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) hosted the opening The Golden Age of the Fountain Pen in NSK Manuscripts exhibition, the final event of the Library’s programme marking the 130th anniversary of the founding of the Library’s Manuscripts and Old Books Collection, NSK’s oldest special collection. NSK waiving late return charges as part of 2024 Croatian Book Month

Just return that overdue book and you will completely be let off the hook! Marking the 2024 Croatian Book Month and this year’s Croatian Libraries Day, the Library will be waiving all late return charges from 11 to 13 November 2024. Overdue titles may be returned where they were issued – at the loan desk on the Library’s Ground Floor or in the reading rooms on Floors 3 and 4.
