The delegation from North Macedonia’s National and University Library “St Clement of Ohrid” visited the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK), opening opportunities for fostering friendship between the two national libraries and for strengthening their cooperation. The North Macedonia’s national library’s Director Jovica Nikčevski, accompanied by the library’s officials Jovica Tasevski, Zorica Jakovleska Spirovska and Magdica Šambevska made a guided tour of NSK, after which they met with the NSK Director General Dr Ivanka Stričević. NSK waving late return charges as part of celebrating National and University Library in Zagreb Day 2026

The National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) and the Zagreb Library Association (ZKD) have launched BioBlitz and libraries, a green libraries programme bringing together the general public and researchers for the purpose of promoting the vital importance of the preservation of biodiversity.
