On 14 October 2025, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) and National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina concluded a five-year cooperation agreement. On 25 September 2025, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) presented Incunabula Croatica, its monograph documenting the findings of decades of extensive research into Croatia’s earliest printed books and their relevance in the context of European cultural heritage. Due to the traffic regulation orders in Zagreb for Thursday, 31 July 2025, when a grand military parade will be held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Croatia’s Operation Storm military offensive, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) will not be able to regularly provide its services and will therefore be closed. Rare 17th-century atlas added to treasures in NSK Map Collection

NSK collections

A rare 1687 atlas is the latest treasure in the Map Collection of the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK). Made by one of the most notable 17th-century cartographers, Franciscan Vincenzo Maria Coronelli (1650-1718), the atlas was printed in Paris by a prominent printer and engraver Nicolas Langlois.
