„The Last Swiss Holocaust Survivors“ exhibition marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day

From 19 to 31 January 2026, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) will be hosting The Last Swiss Holocaust Survivors, an exhibition commemorating the 2026 International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Jointly organised by the Gamaraal Foundation, NSK and the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Swiss Confederation, the exhibition spotlights the stories of the Holocaust survivors in Switzerland, featuring moving video material and revealing the unthinkable loss, fear and persecution that they endured.
Providing an intimate and deeply personal perspective of the harrowing events of the Second World War, the exhibition aims to preserve the survivors’ testimonies for the future generations.
