“Heritage at Hand at CroAtrium” opening soon with 16th-century cartographic treasures in the spotlight

On 14 April 2025 (12.00, Conference Hall Judita), the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) will open Heritage at Hand at CroAtrium, a 2025 programme aimed at the popularisation of Croatian cultural heritage which the Library preserves as part of Croatica, Croatia’s national library collection. Starting with a lecture by historian and geographer Dr Dubravka Mlinarić from the Croatian Institute for Migration Research (IMIN), the Heritage at Hand programme will first spotlight the invaluable 16th-century cartographic material documenting Croatian statehood (Dokumentiranje hrvatske državnosti u radovima srednjoeuropskih kartografa 16. stoljeća).

The National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) will host its Fourteenth Festival of Croatian Digitisation Projects, addressing issues related to the digitisation of heritage, digital collections management systems, digital products and services and presenting digitisation projects, on 8 and 9 May 2025. Our books back, your late return charges waived!
