Apart from providing access to its rich collections, NSK, the National and University Library in Zagreb, offers its users a wide array of services, ranging from those related to NSK’s reading room facilities through information services to guided tours of the Library’s spaces.
Ask a Librarian
NSK’s Ask a librarian service is an information and reference service through which users can obtain information regarding the Library’s collections and all other NSK services as well as request assistance in writing all types of research papers and theses.
Bibliometrics services
Responding to individual and institutional requirements in the research and academic sectors, NSK conducts comprehensive bibliometric analyses and issues related bibliometric reports for researchers and editorial boards of national scientific and professional journals.
Inter-library loans
NSK’s interlibrary loan service enables the Library’s users and libraries in Croatia and abroad to order items or request materials from the collections of other libraries in Croatia and libraries abroad.
Self-service scanning, photocopying and printing
NSK makes available to its users the devices for self-service photocopying, printing and scanning of documents.
Digitisation requests
A large number of items in NSK’s special collections and those available for consultation in the Periodicals Reading Room may be digitised upon request.
