NSK limited operating regime on 31 July 2025
Due to the traffic regulation orders in Zagreb for Thursday, 31 July 2025, when a grand military parade will be held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Croatia’s Operation Storm military offensive, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) will not be able to regularly provide its services and will therefore be closed.
The Library’s staff will be available online, via e-mail.
Please search the NSK Catalogue for items in our collections and visit the Library’s websites offering access to a wide array of digital resources – NSK Digital Collections, Historical Croatian Newspapers, Historical Croatian Journals, Croatian Web Archive, Croatian Digital Theses Repository, Croatian Digital Dissertations Repository, Croatian Glagolitic Heritage (Glagoljica.hr) and NSK Online Exhibitions.
Please note that on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, and by 16 August 2025, the Library will be providing its services at reduced, summer opening hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8.00 – 15.00; Wednesday: 12.00 – 19.00), during which period it will be closed on Saturdays, as well as on 4, 5 and 15 August 2025.
