Fourteenth Festival of Croatian Digitisation Projects: Call for Papers
The National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) will host its Fourteenth Festival of Croatian Digitisation Projects, addressing issues related to the digitisation of heritage, digital collections management systems, digital products and services and presenting digitisation projects, on 8 and 9 May 2025.
At D-fest 2025, we will be discussing digital transformation strategies, the ways in which digital technologies may contribute to sustainability and the application of the principles of environmental responsibility, methods of managing digital collections, challenges related to archiving and data accessibility, innovative technological solutions, the role of artificial intelligence in managing and interpreting cultural resources, the regulation and protection of data and copyright- and ethics-related issues in the digital environment.
Submit your paper proposal by 30 March 2025
Paper proposals for either 5- or 15-minute presentations may be submitted online by 30 March 2025 and should address one of the following themes:
- digital transformation and sustainability
- digital curation
- digital humanities and digitisation technologies and tools
- artificial intelligence and machine learning
- digitisation-related legal, ethical and social issues
- digitisation projects.
